Grand Central Airport

In 2013, Grand Central Airport contracted ITS to do electrical upgrades at their facilities to ensure their compliance with current legal standards. In the hangars, ITS effected electrical upgrades that ensured this compliance – as well as energy savings – which included the:
  • Rewiring of certain sections; and
  • Replacement of old lighting technology with more efficient technology, resulting in legal compliance and energy saving.
And, inside the terminal building itself, ITS:
  • Replaced all of the outdated equipment in the electrical reticulation system; and
  • Tested all of the plug circuits for compliance.
Certificates of Compliance were issued due to the ITS upgrades, and unplanned power interruptions due to faulty wiring and equipment at Grand Central Airport were negated.
