Innovation Group Lighting Project

ITS was contracted to implement an energy saving initiative and register an Eskom IDM rebate project for the Innovation Group during 2013. The project was completed within the projected contract period, and involved the:

• Replacement of all 50W Halogen lights with 5W LED down lights and all T12 & T8 fluorescent light fittings with T5 fluorescent light fittings and
• The installation of occupancy sensors, timers on geysers and Hydro Boils.

Due to ITS, Innovation Group are saving on average R 770 000 each year, and over 500 000 kWh of power, a return on investment in excess of 70 percent over 21 months.
